Nov 2025 GGARC Repeater Upgrades

On November 18, 2025, Fred KA1DGL, Jim N6UPL and myself, Dave K0IRP, with the help of Memorial Hospital employees, removed the old VHF Engineering VHF repeater.
It was replaced with a Yaesu Fusion Dual Band repeater that is programmed for 147,135 MHz FM or C4FM. PL 151.4 Hz for FM low power or C4FM without PL.
It repeats whatever mode is received. There is also a 147.135, PL 100 Hz Motorola Repeater for high power use at the Memorial site.

Also we have installed a Yaesu Fusion Repeater on 447.300 MHz with FM PL 151.4 Hz or C4FM without PL at the Briargate location for north end coverage.

Northside Repeater is on 146.910 MHz PL 151.4 Hz. Westside Repeater is on 447.350 PL 151.4 Hz.

All sites except Briargate are on Backup power systems so will be available during power failures.

GGARC is looking for a 220MHz Repeater with Duplexer, and a GMRS Repeater with duplexer, for possible installation at the Briargate location.

All of our Repeaters are open for use by any licensed HAM Operator. Anyone wishing to use them for Nets should contact K0IRP.
