Our guest speaker was Bob Sayers, W0OFA. Bob’s topic was UFOs, now known as Unidentified Arial Phenomena (UAP). His presentation was followed by a friendly discussion to determine if members believed in UAPs and if they had any experiences to share.
Thank you Bob!

November’s meeting featured guest speaker Don Berg, KE0KNC. Don briefed on eliminating RFI in the home. In this case the culprit was a powerline ethernet adapter.
Ethernet over Power Lines has been a controversial subject over the last couple decades. It’s known to cause interference especially in the AM Broadcast Band and the shortwave spectrum, which of course includes many amateur radio bands.
Thank you Don!

September’s guest speaker was Ray Uberecken, AA0L. Ray’s presentation was about the Deep Space Exploration Society (DSES), with special attention given to the logistics and careful installation of a donated 30-foot dish.
DSES is a not-for-profit organization whose primary purposes are research and education. “We exist to foster the exploration and understanding of space by encouraging students, society members, and the general public to participate in that exploration. We facilitate experiments designed to expand our knowledge of space, and to execute ground-based missions designed to support those experiments.”

Thank you Ray!
